On 11th July, 2014 SAULKALNE S obtained the GMP+ (Good Manufacturing Practice) Certificate for the production of animal feed components. Feed additives have a direct impact on the safety and quality of animal origin products.
The costumers of meat, milk, fish and eggs are expecting the food production and trade companies to offer products that are safe in terms of health and technically high quality. The GMP+ regulates the companies that produce animal feed and its components, feedstock mixes and additives. Now the animal feed components produced by SAULKALNE S Ltd. complies with these requirements. GMP+ certificate will provide additional production and export opportunities for the cooperation with the leading animal feed producers in Europe.
GMP+ management system proofs that the production (the component of the animal feed) that is produced by the company is safe, it controls possible extraction and production risks; the precautionary measures has been introduced into production and the inconsistencies have been removed; the analyses have been conducted and an effective management of processes is implemented.
The serious work that SAULKALNE S invested into the development of it`s quality management system - received a high evaluation – we obtained the internationally recognized GMP+ Certificate. Certification was carried out and certificate was issued by international certification company SGS.
